Welcome to the Plastic Recycling Data Dashboard
This dashboard was designed to provide a high-level visual display of the 2019 plastic recycling data as well as access to the 2019 U.S. Post-Consumer Recycling Data Report. The studies contributing data to the Report on United States (U.S.) sourced post-consumer plastic recovered for recycling in 2019 include the continuation of the 30th annual study on plastic bottles, the 15th on film, the 13th on non-bottle rigid plastic, and the first including other plastics. Thank you to the study participants — Recyclers, who are the engines of the recycling economy and ultimately the transition to a circular economy. The 2019 survey had strong participation, which was greatly appreciated given the survey was conducted during a pandemic. There has never been a greater need for better data so we can innovate and solve our growing waste problems. To ensure the continuation of this important research and its availability we need support. Please contribute to the Foundation for Plastic Recyclers or get in touch with the Association of Plastic Recyclers.
